Clinton Eugene "Gene" Cannon

Clinton Eugene “Gene” Cannon, age 93, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park with full Military and Masonic honors.

Mr. Cannon served in the United States National Guard and Army before retiring as Master Sergeant from the Air Force after 22 years of service. He retired as an engineer from Watts and Browning Engineering Company in Atlanta. Mr. Cannon was also a 65 year Mason with the Springville Lodge #153 F&AM in Powder Springs. He was a member of the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the Eastern Star of Greenville, SC, and served as a Boy Scout Troup Leader, and was a Demolay Chapter Dad.

Step Son: Mike Butler,

Sister-in-Law: Dot Cannon, Loganville, GA

Nieces and Nephews

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
