Charles E. Morrison

Charles Edward Morrison, Sr., age 74 of Powder Springs, GA passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016. A Graveside Service will be held 2 pm Friday, August 26 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating.
A native of Lamar County, Alabama, Mr. Morrison graduated from Mississippi State University with honors. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Social Fraternity and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership fraternity. He was a pilot for Delta Airlines for 30 years, retiring in 1997. After retiring, he devoted his time to traveling, woodworking, and spending time with family. He was a member of Macland Baptist Church.

3 Children: Elizabeth Van Morrison, Brookhaven, GA
Rebekah Ann Morrison Calvert and husband Brad, Denver, CO

2 Grandchildren: Zachary Lewis Morrison and Noah Lee Morrison
The family will receive friends Friday, August 26th, from 12 pm until 1:30 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
