Betty Jackson Horton

Betty Grace Horton, 56 of Hampton, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her son Christopher Horton, her mother Monique Bell, and her siblings Patty Zyniewicz, Allen Butler, Johnny Jackson, Danny Jackson and Tina McKay. Her family will be hosting a private memorial service and celebration of Betty’s life on December 21st.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either the American Lung Association ( http://www.lung.org/donate/ ) or the Angel Fund Endowment ( https://ssl.4agoodcause.com/wellstar/hospice.aspx ) that provided such tranquil and family friendly support during Betty’s hospice care. Her family would also like to express gratitude to those who provided loving prayers and support during this difficult time. As always, we can be comforted by the truth in God’s word. Revelation 21:4 reminds us that, “…He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain…”
