Betty L Hayes, age 78, of Marietta, Georgia passed away March 27, 2017. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA with Rev. Ben Tanner officiating.
Betty a native of Columbus, GA moved to Marietta, GA in 1973 where she was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She loved to read and spend time playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: daughter: Lisa G. (John) Price of Dallas, GA; son: Tony A. (Elaine) Hayes of Powder Springs, GA; six grandchildren: Ellen Smith, Christina Carroll, Angela Campbell, Brooke Beck, Alisha Mewborn and Jennifer Price; eight great-grandchildren: Austin Guinn, Andrew Smith, Mary Ella Carroll, Landon Mewborn, Madee Carroll, Brycen Mewborn, Emma Kate Mewborn and Winston Campbell; one sister: Opal Canarina of Fort Campbell, KY; brother: Gerald Demonbreun of N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Childrens Health Care of Atlanta.
